When it comes to growing a creative business, we all have to start somewhere -- and that often means saying “yes!” over and over again. Our dear friend Katie Dean got her start as a jewelry designer creating dainty feminine pieces while working as a styling assistant. As she started to wear the jewelry she was making (literally from a closet underneath her stairs!), her work started to get noticed. Before she knew it, one “yes” after another led to her work getting placed on fashion sets, and eventually, worn by Kylie and Kendall Jenner and countless other celebrities.

She’s gone on to build up a successful online business based on connecting with customers and making them feel beautiful inside and out, whether it’s at in-person craft fairs or through social media live streams.
